The 2″ to 3″ Premium Black Mexican Beach Pebble brings presence and visual weight to landscape installations where larger stone scale serves the design. Individually, each stone reads as a smooth, well-formed dark river rock. Collectively, this size creates bold, textured groundcover that holds its own alongside structural plantings, boulders, architectural concrete, and water.

This size is well-suited for wide, open groundcover areas in residential and commercial landscape installations, dry riverbeds and drainage swales, large planter beds, xeriscape and drought-tolerant landscapes, and as a transitional element between fine-grade materials and boulder groupings. The larger format also means fewer stones per square foot, which can reduce material cost for broad coverage areas while maintaining the rich black color palette the premium grade provides.

Like all stones in the Premium collection, the 2″ to 3″ is hand-harvested from remote sections of the Baja California coastline under strict no-machinery collection laws, and held to tighter selection standards than standard beach inventory — meaning deeper color, better roundness, and less lot-to-lot variation.
