Which size of rock is best for your landscaping project? It depends upon the area and intended use or scope of your project.
Often customers will ask us which size of rock is best. While there are general guidelines for common installations, the beauty of our products is that their uses are only limited by the designers/installers imagination.
Our La Paz Pebble is a great choice for smaller gravel-type options, these small round stones create excellent walking comfort when used by a pool, a pathway, or playground.
Pea gravel is ideal for decorative elements as well, like aquariums and fountains, as well as exposed aggregate concrete applications.
The smaller sized stones are ideal for use in a higher foot traffic area. They are a preferred size for yards where children or pets are walking on them, which will minimize slipping.

Our decorative PEBBLES are smooth stones, and range in size from about 1” – 3”. Typically used to line gardens & pathways and mulch flowerbeds. They make a beautiful soft or hardscape groundcover. Our pebbles are available in sizes:
